Meerkat is not free software, and is licensed on a per-site basis. Each site must also have an appropriate Statamic License.
Meerkat is free to use locally during official beta and testing periods. Meerkat may also be used locally during the development process of your site without a license key.
Meerkat may only be obtained through official channels (the Statamic Marketplace, and those specified in the installation guide). Meerkat may redistributed only in the capacity that it is part of a larger work for a client.
Repackaging, bundling, or making available Meerkat (or derivative works) as part of free/paid distributable package is strictly prohibited; for clarity:
tl;dr: If you're developing something custom for yourself or a client and you're good to go. If you are doing something that is obviously plagiarism than we are less good.
Each paid Meerkat license entitles the owner to all updates for the major version it was purchase for. For example, if a license was purchased at version 3.0.2, you would be able to upgrade for free even at version 3.9.0.
Some features may be sold separately, and major version updates may be made available as a paid upgrade, or require a new license to be purchased. An example of a major version update would be going from version 2.x to version 3.x.
The development of Meerkat 3 will target the latest Statamic release.
Meerkat 1 for Statamic 2 and Meerkat 2 for Statamic 3 are no longer officially supported.
Stillat, LLC does not offer phone support. There are no guarantees on the response timelines for support requests, most requests are responded to within 72 hours. To start a support request, ask a question, or just say hello, please contact hello@stillat.com. Email Requests
For most users, the best way to get in touch is through email. Please add "Meerkat Help" and a very brief summary of the request in the subject line.
If you need escalated priority support please contact hello@stillat.com with a detailed description of what you need urgently. Escalated priority support may incur consulting fees depending on the nature of the support item, scope, and the turn-around time required. Anything that may incur fees will be communicated up-front; no surprise bills here. You may be referred to other consulting companies, developers, or service providers if we cannot handle the request in a timely manner.
If the typical licensing agreement does not fit your needs, or you are looking for white-labeling options, custom development, or need a custom feature implemented into Meerkat for Statamic 4, please contact hello@stillat.com. Custom development incurs a consulting fee; we will work together to develop a solution that best suites your needs. Not all custom requests are accepted.
You may be referred to other consulting companies, developers, or service providers if we cannot handle the request in a timely manner.
Stillat, LLC offers refunds on software within 14 days of purchase. Please contact refunds@stillat.com for assistance.
All users are encouraged to take advantage of the free development access and unlimited trial periods (in non-production environments) before committing to a purchase.
