Thoughts On "Awesome" Found on GitHub

Musings

There has been quite a trend on GitHub lately that I've noticed. It is the creation of "awesome" repositories. These repositories are essentially a curated list of learning resources about many different topics. Some of these topics include C++, PHP, Laravel, Ruby, Emacs, and a lot more. As it sits, these are great learning resources. You can see some of them here:

I have a few ideas on how to make all of this awesomeness accessible in an intuitive, interactive way. One would be to create an interactive website portal for users to quickly drill down to a help topics, without really knowing what it is they are looking for. The other idea would be to create almost a tech-specific search engine, using such curated lists the initial sites in the index.

There is still a lot of thinking to do here, and I'm just putting it out there as a way to remember my thoughts. Have any comments or suggestions, or want to say "hi!"? Why not leave a comment! The box is down there (imagine me pointing to the bottom of the screen).
